Nature and purpose of the data collected

"Personal data" refers to information from which a customer can be personally identified. Processing means any handling of personal data — collecting, using, storing, disclosing, or deleting it.

Some personal data is collected automatically when you use this website. Other data is provided directly by you, for example when contacting me or placing an order.

Data collected automatically

When you visit paediiluchs.com, the web server automatically logs technical access data — such as your IP address, the date and time of access, browser and operating system used, and the page requested. This data is used solely to ensure the site functions correctly and to improve the website. Cookies may be used in this context (see below).

Data collected through orders, contact, or a customer account

After a contract is fully completed, or after a customer account is deleted, your data is retained only as required by Swiss tax and commercial law retention periods, then deleted — unless you have separately consented to further use. You may delete your customer account at any time by contacting me directly or using the account deletion option, where available.

IP addresses are truncated by Google within Europe before being transmitted to the USA, so they cannot be traced back to an individual. I have disabled Google's "Data Sharing" and "Signals" settings.

While I have no reason to believe the data shared with Google identifies you personally, it is possible that Google may draw its own conclusions from this data, build profiles, and link them to a visitor's Google account. By using Google Analytics on this site, this may involve the transfer of personal data (usage data, device information, identifiers) to the USA and other countries.

Meta (Facebook) Ads and Pixel

I use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of advertising and understand how visitors interact with this site after seeing an ad. The provider is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. This may involve transferring data (such as your IP address and browsing behavior) to Meta, including to the USA.

Social media content
