ORIGINS

We hiked through rain to the remote Lauteraar SAC-hut deep in the mountains of the Grimsel area, where we spent a night in total solitude.

The next morning, the rain had passed. The air was washed clear and the absence of sound was almost eerie. The kind that makes you hold your breath and just listen. Only the occasional rockfall breaks the silence. I notice the trickle of hidden rivers nearby. Wafts of wind gently tug on my coat and caress my face, as if checking I'm still here.
Fall has colored the area in red and yellow, streaking through the evergreen brush.

I position my friend on a rock overlooking it all. And in this moment my head goes quiet. For once there is nothing to think and so much to feel. 

Freedom.

This photo will remind you that the outdoors will always have space for you and true freedom comes from within.

Material

Aluminum dibond

For a bold, modern statement piece that lasts a lifetime.

With no glazing, an aluminum dibond print has a purist look. It's a 3mm thick composite material with three layers. Two white-coated aluminum plates enclose a black polyethylene core. Viewed from the sides, the material appears black. Although it is extremely robust, aluminum dibond has a low weight, meaning it is also perfect for large-format pieces. The photo print is laminated with a thin film for protection.

This is a textile canvas wrap on a 2cm wooden frame.

As an alternative to the classic canvas, the fine, smoothly woven fabric offers a discreetly structured, glossy surface. The image effect is more lively and natural due to the fabric texture.

The Fuji Crystal DP II is a high-quality, brand-name paper. It produces vibrant colors and great contrast. With the matte-finished surface, a UV-protective laminate is added to the print.

My print partner is WhiteWall, based in Germany. Every print is produced specifically for your order and shipped directly from their lab. Delivery takes around 2 weeks.

If you're outside the EU, import duties may apply. I reimburse these in full, so you only ever pay what you see at checkout. Just contact me if this happens.
